FUNNEL CAKE

CHECK OUT THIS PIECE

FUNNEL CAKE is a raw, electric time capsule in the F*ck It Collection, painted in late 2019 just weeks before the world completely shut down.

Growing up in the Midwest, summers meant county fairs: blinking neon lights, dizzying carnivals, and the sweet, heavy scent of fried dough in the air. This piece explodes with those familiar childhood fairground colors, but flips the script on the nostalgia. Painted with no clue of the pandemic right around the corner, FUNNEL CAKE channels that strange, unsettling feeling of being completely lost in a sea of people. It captures the sensory overload of a crowd—simultaneously overwhelming, claustrophobic, and vibrant—before standing elbow-to-elbow vanished overnight.

Equal parts chaotic and honest, it leans straight into the pulse of the F*ck It series: letting messy emotions and loud memories take up all the space they want.
