MIDWEST

CHECK OUT THIS PIECE

MIDWEST is a tender tribute to inherited creativity, self-discovery, and maternal history within the Pink Collection.

The piece is directly inspired by an artwork my mom created when she was younger, a work accepted into an art show that she ultimately didn't have the courage to attend, still caught in the quiet fear of discovering who she was and who she was allowed to be. Carrying that unfinished moment across generations, MIDWEST picks up where she left off. Blending soft blush tones with grounding, textured brushwork, the piece honors the silent bravery of women figuring themselves out on their own terms. It celebrates feminine lineage not just for what was achieved, but for the quiet, tender vulnerabilities that paved the way for self-acceptance.
