THING 1

THING 1 advances the Strawberry Collection through the lens of dual energy and shared form. Rooted in the dynamic bond with my sister, born just one year and one week apart, the piece translates our near-twin rhythm into an exploration of visual balance, friction, and bold contrast.

Conceived as the first movement of a diptych alongside THING 2, the iconic fruit becomes an anchor of parallel identity. THING 1 captures the tension and play of growing alongside a counterpart, establishing a commanding presence that holds its own while staying in direct dialogue with its companion piece.
